Student Artists created animated scenes with original penguin characters. They transferred files via email in and utilized a browser based animation app in order practice technology related life skills.
STEP 1
Students created their own penguin characters by following along with an instructor lead demonstration and we encouraged to customize and name their penguin.
Once complete the penguin was scanned and the digital image was emailed to the students.
STEP 2
Students uploaded their scanned penguins to a tool assisted animation app, rigged their characters, and chose a character animation for their penguin to perform.
STEP 3
Students created a igloo for their penguin character to be animated on top of and selected music that they think their penguin would enjoy.
STEP 4
The Instructor composites the penguins onto their backgrounds and everyone spends class enjoying animated penguin scenes, perhaps even indulging in a bit of dancing.
